The September Issue

Yes, I’m really behind. Sorry, kids.

I actually saw The September Issue months ago, but was recently reminded with all this fashion week talk. Since it’s been a while, I’ve forgotten most of the details about this documentary - but something has stuck with me. It is a perfect representation of the relationship between someone in creative and an editor. I remember leaving the movie disliking Anna Wintour (the infamous Editor in Chief at American Vogue) more than before I saw it. But after some time to reflect, I think it’s a healthy relationship, that has obviously benefited their company, and the entire fashion industry.

Regardless of how you feel about Anna, you’ll undoubtedly leave with a deep love and respect for her Creative Director, Grace Coddington.
