up in the air

so i’m trying to catch up on all the nominees before the oscar’s on march 7th. wednesday i went to see up in the air. i liked it, but that was about it. i don’t really think it’s worth all the oscar buzz. george clooney’s performance was the same as always- charming and emtpy. i suppose you could argue that those attributes fit his character to a tee, but come on, let’s be real. he always plays this role.

on the other hand, i’ve decided to back anna kendrick for best supporting actress. this chick is in the twilight movies. i can’t really speak for kristin, but i’m not a fan of the books or the movies despite my undying loyalty to team jacob. i thought she was great. although unlikeable at times, i thought her character was endearing and she played the role perfectly.
